ICON ST-I offers true coverage on 100% of the planet through the use of Iridium's low-orbit satellite constellation, ensuring reliable and continuous global communication for the most critical operations, even in the most remote locations, regardless of the segment. As it is a bidirectional satellite technology, it is possible to send information and control assets remotely, without the need for human interference.
Variety of features
Effortech's ICON ST-I terminal offers several interfaces for general operations, such as serial communication and digital inputs and outputs. Integrated with embedded intelligence and high-capacity memory, it was developed to retain data so that no messages are lost during operation, even in the event of signal loss. It also has an integrated module for global navigation systems, compatible with GPS and Glonass constellations. Bidirectional communication
By using bidirectional satellite technology, ICON ST terminals can receive and send data. Through M2M communication (machine to machine), it is possible to program automatic activation of devices, without the need for human interference, or allow managers to control their assets remotely, making manual activations at any time of the day.

10 times shorter latency
As it uses non-geostationary low-orbit (LEO) satellites, the latency of ICON ST terminals is at least 10 times lower, when compared to devices that use geostationary satellites (GEO).
