Smart Communicator

Snitch is an intelligent and flexible transmitter designed to interface data traffic between sensors and the final application of an IoT solution. It aims to enable IoT solutions in several segments with features such as internal rechargeable battery, positioning, motion detection, digital inputs for sensors and serial for connecting peripherals. Among its resources, Snitch also includes 4G / 2G (LTE) and LoRa technologies.

Modem LTE/EGPRS

Module Quectel BG95:

Interfaces and I/Os

  • 1 RS232 or RS485 interface, with termination and protections;
  • 1 1-wire communication interface, compatible with 1-Wire and SDI-12 protocols;
  • 1 CAN interface (Protocol J1939), with necessary terminations and protections
  • 1 Active input at high level: ignition, 9 to 32VDC;
  • 1 Active input at low level: GND generalist;
  • 1 analog input (0 to 5V);
  • 1 Active output at low level: generalist GND, with protection against short circuit (500mA);
  • 1 5V output (500mA) with protection, for sensor supply. It becomes 3.3V when there is a lack of external power and the internal battery enters.
